Senior Honors Thesis Writing Groups offer students opportunities to develop their individual theses in a supportive community of contributors of scriptures. Through a faculty member from the Expository write program, these groups can complement that the working students in their own departments are able to offer, the support and resources with the principles of throat writing as well as the process of writing. Groups are generally organized by the department and meet in late autumn and spring, as the year is particularly valuable as the year progresses, and Thesis Writers continue to move into their independent work.
Groups are limited to 4-6 students and are usually arranged by the department.
Most groups start in late autumn with 2 sessions with around 4 sessions in the spring. Students who join a group to participate in all meetings.
Requirements are planned at a time for all group members, which usually take about 1.5 hours.
Each session focuses on the working method of students who are collaboratively shared and collaboratively discussed during the meeting. The EWP Faculty member, which facilitates every session, also distilled joint principles at the end of each session, which offers additional resources of the group as needed.
thesis writing group students are also invited to additional thesis-write-ins, which are offered in the spring, and can also make individual appointments with consultants in the writing center.
